Solid'Art, the Secours Populaire solidarity exhibition will be held on 16, 17 and 18 June in the Hôtel de Ville in Lille (3000 m2 of exhibition space - free admission).
After Jef Aérosol, Hervé Di Rosa, JonOne and Speedy Graphito, it is the Roubaix artist Damien DEMAITER who is sponsoring the 2023 edition.
Damien Demaiter's compositions are based on an intuitive and sometimes unconscious creative process, combining various methods of scraping, projection, collage and superimposition of materials. His work combines an impulsive use of colour and matter, textures, and multiple materials, ink, acrylic, pastel, chalk, gouache, felt pen, pencil
Sponsoring SOLID'ART gives a lot of meaning to what I do, and to what we all try to share. As an artist, I measure this responsibility every day. Through our art, let's open our souls, let's share, let's help to give wings and a lot of light to those who work against suffering and exclusion.
During 3 days, 120 artists will present their works: painting, photography, street-art, sculpture, ... there will be something for every taste and every budget.
The funds collected will be dedicated to the Secours populaire Nord holiday campaign.
As last year, a sanitary protocol will be put in place with the services of the City of Lille.
