A self-taught musician, Omar EK began his musical career in his native Casablanca. Marked by his collaborations with Arab-African musicians, this change of scenery inspired him to delve deeper into this rich territory. It was through electronic music that he came up with the idea of exploring the musical heritage of the continent in which he was born, inscribing his aesthetic in a progressive, modern Africa.
