Through the exceptional heritage of Islamic art, we retrace the cultural exchanges between East and West, from the Middle Ages to the present day. By placing the works in their context of creation and reception, we can observe the wealth of influences and the importance of Islamic cultures for Western art, without overlooking misunderstandings and fantasies. On the occasion of the exhibition at the Musée du Louvre-Lens, March 25 - July 26, 2026.
