We walk on it every day without paying it any attention, but without it, there is no life! It provides us with the resources we need to eat, clothe and care for ourselves? Soil is alive and well: it moves very slowly, changing and developing all the time.
Like other living things, soil breathes and needs air and water to stay alive. Healthy, living soil is an indispensable part of our daily lives. We must protect and nourish it to guarantee all the services it provides.
