After _Adolescent_ in 2019, Sylvain Groud reunites with visual artist Françoise Pétrovitch for a new collaborative creation, this time focusing on an entirely different age: childhood. A multi-disciplinary artistic project, _des chimères dans la tête_ is the result of a meeting between the choreographer, the visual artist and audio-visual creator Hervé Plumet.
At the crossroads of visual arts and choreography, _des chimères dans la tête_ is an invitation to plunge into the abyssal imagination of childhood, revealed and sublimated by the gesture of dance.
Concealed behind the set, three performers play with gravity to reveal an arm, a leg, perhaps a hand... evoking legs, wings, antennae! They complete the bodies of the chimeras drawn on the screen, until they step out of the frame and dance on the stage, bringing these strange creatures to life.
This children's story, juggling phantasmagoria, nightmares and a touch of humor, sows confusion, pokes fun at optical illusions and establishes an original game with the audience.
