Exhibition from October 3, 2025 to April 5, 2026
This groundbreaking exhibition explores the creative output of Eugène Leroy, a major artist born in 1910, during the last twenty years of his life. Through more than 80 paintings and drawings, it exalts his freedom and creative profusion, "far removed from trends and fashions" in his own words. Executed in her Wasquehal studio, the color-saturated canvases bear witness to her constantly renewed research into light and the nude. In this period of blossoming and international recognition, the drawings, more intimate and little-known, demonstrate the virtuosity of this exceptional artist who gave his name to the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Tourcoing.
