Exposition Fête à facettes, c'est Jouret qui régale

As part of Fiesta, a cultural event supported by lille3000, artists from the Collectif des Ateliers Jouret reinvent the imaginary world of feasting and banqueting. A sculpted feast, visual, sonorous and vibrant. The banquet becomes a pretext for a staging of overflow, intensity and contrasts. The tablecloth slips from view, fruit escapes from baskets, proportions are reversed, birds leave their nests. The universe slips into a gentle extravagance. Far from a simple reconstruction, the banquet becomes a playground of poetry and symbols. Everything is transformed: space, materials, colors, postures. Suspended times intersect with moments of euphoria. Absurd or tender details punctuate the visitor?s journey, inviting him or her to become a guest in a waking dream.
