The Roubaix multimedia library is a place for living. In addition to books, films, records and a wide range of other documents, La Grand-Plage is a space that invites everyone, without distinction, to live and enjoy it in a variety of ways, in a cultural environment.
With this in mind, photographer Hernán Ameijeiras - himself a long-time user and lover of the Médiathèque - spent months surveying its floors. His objective: to reveal and show how the public uses it to play, work, have fun, be moved, eat, share, discuss, learn and laugh, and also how its staff do everything possible to make this possible.
The result is an exhibition that testifies to the richness of the Roubaix media library as a living space:
