Hourvari is a trick used by game to deceive the hounds by coming back on its tracks. The word is also used to describe a racket, a storm, chaos? all ideas guiding the new creation by the Rasposo company. Conceived as a tale, this big-top show blurs the lines between circus and theater, between the true and the false, questioning our relationship with reality, which is constantly being manipulated.
Accompanied by two musicians, ten circus performers seem to be tossed about like puppets, like living allegories of a world plagued by illusions. Bodies are suspended, contorted and dislocated, before freeing themselves from the laws of gravity in a series of high-flying acts.
