**On Saturday March 14, 2026, from 10am to 12:30pm, parents will once again have the opportunity to meet with childminders and ask any questions they may have
**This is an individual childcare service for children aged 0 to 6
Childminders are professionals approved by the Département.
While you're getting all the information you need, your children will also be able to take part in a number of activities and workshops (reading, music, motor skills, signed nursery rhymes, decanting, etc.). Karim will be there with his guitar! And it's all free!
_Among our partners' stands, parents will be able to contact us on site:_
\- **At the Crèche municipale Familiale**: to find out more about this childcare option, which is a good compromise between a home-based childminder and a group nursery
\- at the RPE (Relais Petite Enfance)** : to help parents make contact with childminders and set up administrative procedures (contracts, grants, CAF, etc.)
The RPE also assists independent childminders with their professional development (accreditation, training, etc.), and offers early-learning mornings for outings with children at various locations in the town.
\- **to childminder associations**: some associations offer childminders the chance to get together with their children to share group activities (early-learning activities, nature discovery, etc.) at various Roubaix locations, outside the usual childcare center.
\- **Maisons assistantes maternelles (MAMs)**: each brings together three or four professional childminders in a single shared space, known as a "house", with the advantages of individualized care for your child, in a mini-community setting.
