Opening the evening, Nacho Duato?s _Gnawa_ explores the links between the human being and the universe through the four fundamental elements: water, earth, fire and air. Set to spellbinding music blending African and Eastern influences, the dancers evolve in a choreography where gravity and contact with the ground become essential, celebrating spirituality and the mysteries of the world.
This is followed by _Umbó_, created by Leilane Teles, a veritable ode to the deep desire to achieve what we aspire to be. Evoking Brazilian artistic figures such as Tiganá Santana and Virginia Rodrigues, the work questions inspiration and creation.
