Description
Archaeological digs carried out in the 1960s confirmed the ancient origins of the town of Croix.
In the space of a few centuries, Croix grew from a few farmlands to a village organized around a church, and ordered by a lord in the 11th century.
Sparsely populated and inward-looking, with a mainly agricultural population, the town expanded in the 19th century during the industrial revolution.
This tour invites you to discover the history of the town through its exceptional heritage.
This tour is offered on Saturday, September 12 at 2.30pm.
