In 1894, the Jonville brothers founded a flour mill on the banks of the Roubaix canal. In 1906, a massive extension, almost twice as large, was added. The buildings were converted into lofts by Lille-based Tank Architectes in 2005.
Having fallen into disrepair after years of vacancy, the two upper floors were removed and replaced by metal volumes.
