To mark the centenary of the Paris Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes, which marked the aesthetic turning point of the Roaring Twenties, La Piscine highlights a selection of "pearls" from its Textile and Fashion collections. Skilfully woven jacquard fabrics, damask fabrics in shimmering patterns, daywear and evening wear adorn the museum?s upstairs booths.
At the same time, discover the newly restored modernist furniture by interior designer Robert Mallet-Stevens (1886-1945) in the permanent spaces.
