Festival la Nuit des Arts When art awakens in the moonlight... and that Roubaix is awakening creativity!

In Roubaix, when night falls, the lights come on in the studios, galleries, museums and even in the streets.

No full moon this time (though 👀)… but a pack of artists, curious onlookers and enthusiasts who make the city vibrate to the rhythm of creation.

Twice a year, in spring and winter, “La Nuit des Arts” transforms Roubaix into a playground for the imagination. Painting, photography, sculpture, design, textiles, ceramics, street art, digital installations… Art is everywhere, for everyone, and above all at all hours.

One weekend nooo … two weekends yes, and dozens of places to explore, to (re)discover, to love.

Welcome to the 29ᵉ edition of an event as wild as it is poetic, where we follow in the footsteps of the great wolf of Roubaix: totem of every edition, symbol of curiosity and creative instinct.

What is it? Arts Night?

For nearly thirty years, Roubaix Arts Night has been one of the key events on the arts scene in the north of France.

Supported by the City of Roubaix and its cultural players, it celebrates art in all its forms and spotlights the region’s creative talent.

➡️ more than 500 artists on show,
➡️ more than 50 partner venues,
➡️ performances, openings, tours and workshops,
➡️ …and above all, a unique atmosphere: free, open and inspiring.

A moment apart, where the whole city becomes an open-air museum.

Two weekends to live the experience:

12, 13 and 14 December 2025
20 and 21 December 2025

🕕 The venues generally open their doors from 6pm to 11pm on Saturdays, with extended opening times depending on the venue.

The detailed programme will be available very soon!

One weekend, 24 hours non-stop, artists, designers, DIY geniuses… and mountains of salvaged materials.
At the Braderie de l’Art, everything is transformed: waste becomes work, wasteland becomes workshop, and inspiration flows at full speed.

With concerts, performances and unexpected finds, it’s an unmissable rendez-vous for creative recycling and collective energy.

The right reflexes the perfect art explorer

Strolling off the beaten track
The best discoveries are often hidden in a courtyard, a workshop or an unexpected passageway.

Let your gaze wander
Textures, reflections, materials… here, everything is an invitation to slow down and feel.

Take an artistic break
Between two exhibitions, a coffee, a hot chocolate or a beer* becomes a work of art in its own right.

Let yourself be surprised
A performance emerges, a musician improvises, a light changes: anything can happen.

Capture… then just watch
Keep your camera with you, but also allow yourself the luxury of experiencing the moment unfiltered.

Feel the city
Listen to the footsteps on the cobbles, the murmuring voices, the creative spirit that inhabits Roubaix.

Enjoying the calm after the crowds
The best moments often come when the night really sets in.

Talking to the artists
A smile, a question, a chat – that’s when the real meeting begins.

Leave inspired
Not just with photos, but with emotions, ideas and the desire to create something of your own.
