Hello Olympic Games

Welcome to Lille metropole, home of the 2024 Olympic Games!
Supporters from all over the world, get ready for an unforgettable Olympic experience in the capital of Flanders!

The European metropolis of Lille is hosting the basketball and handball competitions during the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games!

From July 27 to August 11, 2024, the Decathlon Arena – Stade Pierre Mauroy becomes the arena for 52 high-level matches, hosting the men’s and women’s basketball preliminary phases, as well as the women’s and men’s handball final phases.

  • Getting to the stadium by metro

    Line 1:

    From the “Gare Lille Flandres” station, you arrive at the “4 Cantons Stade Pierre Mauroy” station 14 minutes later. Then walk about 15 minutes to the stadium and enjoy the entertainment organized for the event.

    At the end of the match, to return from the stadium, head for the “Cité Scientifique” station, a 15-minute walk from the stadium.

    Line 2 + shuttle:

    Choose the comfortable route to Stade Pierre Mauroy.

    From the “Gare Lille Flandres” station, walk 12 minutes to “Les Prés Edgard Pisani”. Then follow the signs for the “Bus Stade” located near the station, and arrive at the stadium forecourt in 17 minutes.

    These “Stade Buses” are available 2h30 from the station before the start of the match and up to 1h30 afterwards from the forecourt.

    PRM access:

    Dedicated teams dressed in pink chasuble will be on hand to guide you. You can ask them to help you get around.

Cultural Olympiad, ask for the program!

The Cultural Olympiad in Lille is a rich and varied program of cultural events that will take place alongside the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The initiative aims to celebrate sport and culture, and make the European Metropolis of Lille a real magnet for artists and spectators from all over the world.
