Asnapio takes visitors back in time to discover settlements dating from prehistoric times to the Middle Ages, reconstructed using ancestral techniques based on regional excavations.this practice of experimental archaeology, or archaeology of the gesture, enables us to rediscover and demonstrate the building gestures and techniques used by our ancestors, by building dwellings in the same conditions as in various past eras. Self-guided or guided tours take you from an Upper Paleolithic tent to a Neolithic or Bronze Age shelter, from a Gallic farmhouse to a Gallo-Roman villa and buildings from the Middle Ages. Educational workshops are also regularly organized.
