Rebuilt in the Flemish Renaissance style, the Town Hall was inaugurated in 1929. The regional architect Louis Marie Cordonnier succeeded in unifying the two monuments by combining brick and stone and using the same architectural vocabulary: bell towers, dormer windows, decorative finials, and slate roofing.
