Designed by architect André Granet, this linen mill was an innovative building for its time. It illustrates original and unusual architectural research in the world of textiles, since it was built using a revolutionary technique: reinforced concrete. It was built in two successive phases: the first in 1925 and the second in 1927. The flax mill ceased operations in 1975. Today, it is beginning its second life as a set of lofts.
