Lille: the workshop city

In the city centre, creativity can be seen around every corner.

The designer boutiques of Wazemmes combine popular spirit with unique pieces, while the Atelier des Artistes and the collectives of Vieux-Lille unveil local, poetic and contemporary works.

Ceramics, jewellery, posters, stationery… here, every object tells a story, often born just a few kilometres away.

    Roubaix: materials come back to life

    In the vast brick walls of the former textile town, creativity has found a home.

    At the Ateliers Jouret, around forty designers share a common passion: design, sculpture, leather goods, painting and sewing.

    Just next door, the Grand Bassin offers a selection of cutting-edge local crafts and the Non-Lieu – housed in the former Cavrois-Mahieu factory – transforms industrial materials and raw space into a creative melting pot where artists, craftspeople and designers cultivate boldness and innovation.

    Roubaix has confirmed its position as one of the city’s creative and sustainable laboratories.

      Here, people come not just to buy, but to be inspired.

      The concept stores in the Lille area combine craft, design, fashion and curiosity in unique worlds where every object has a soul.

      At Cigoire, you’ll discover a cutting-edge selection of emerging brands and reinvented everyday objects.
      El Market, a pioneer of responsible shopping in Lille, combines ethics and aesthetics.
      Memento Mori shakes things up with its neo-gothic atmosphere and unusual creations.
      Little & Tall is the family version of Scandinavian softness, with a mix of decor, textiles and stationery.
      And Kumo celebrates the beauty of Japanese minimalism and contemporary design.

      With their inspiring shop windows and local favourites, these are much more than boutiques: they are veritable trend laboratories, where the art of living, Lille-style, is expressed in all its creativity.

        Tourcoing, Lambersart, Villeneuve-d'Ascq : creativity in motion

        In Tourcoing, Créacoeur weaves together responsible fashion, colourful accessories and a friendly atmosphere.

        In Lambersart, ARTChipel shines with its selection of ethical and responsible designers, as does Boutique de Lily, a new concept store for families.

        In Mons en Baroeul, a new boutique has just opened: De A à Z

        And in Villeneuve-d’Ascq, Grand Playground at La Maillerie is a 1,000 m2 event space where you can find designer events every weekend.

        Everywhere, expertise meets, reinvents itself and is exhibited in lively, human-scale venues.

          In Weppes and Mélantois : creativity takes root

          Here, crafts live at the pace of the countryside.

          In the Weppes and the Mélantois, numerous workshops nestle in the heart of our countryside: ceramists, cabinet-makers, illustrators, upholsterers and dressmakers reinvent the “handmade” with authenticity.

          In Seclin, Templemars and Wattignies, you’ll find jewellery designers, leather craftsmen, ironmongers and glass artists who open their doors at weekends to share their passion, as well as boutiques like Mains & Merveilles in Seclin, …

          In Armentières, theAtelier Petit Ruban brings together 15 local designers.

          Markets and events not to be missed

          Local creativity is also celebrated:
