Created in 2004 by architect Pierre-Louis Carlier, the Colysée owes its name to the "Colysée Royal", a party venue in the Age of Enlightenment. One of the Maisons Folie in the Lille metropolitan area, it is part of the Fabriques Culturelles network supported by the MEL. It offers high-quality art exhibitions and cultural events throughout the year, with a particular focus on family and young-audience events. From the top of this structure, you can enjoy a panoramic view over the plain and the gardens (mosaic garden and wet garden).
