I calculate the carbon impact of my trip
Becoming aware of the environmental impact of your travel is the first step towards taking action. Using a carbon footprint calculator allows you to measure the greenhouse gas emissions associated with your stay. These tools, based on ADEME’s Bilan Carbone® methodology, help you easily estimate the climate impact of your activities.

I contribute by supporting a local project
Why contribute locally?
While tourism is a source of discovery and relaxation, it also contributes to global greenhouse gas emissions. Contributing locally means investing in environmental projects and encouraging nearby sustainable practices.
Support local projects with a positive environmental and social impact by making a financial contribution! Two initiatives can currently be supported in our destination:
- A certified low-carbon agricultural project located in the Lille Metropolis (Bousbecque), where your direct support helps fund effective carbon reduction efforts.
- A project led by the Fondation de Lille, aimed at funding access to holidays (using sustainable transport) or eco-friendly leisure activities for low-income households in the metropolitan area.
After contributing, you will receive a certificate and/or a receipt as proof of your commitment to these sustainable initiatives.
