Raphaël Experience The exhibition

From 18 October 2024 to 17 February 2025, the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Lille invites you to explore the art of Raphael (1483-1520) by unveiling his entire collection of drawings for the first time. This exhibition, comprising 40 works, some presented on both sides, is enhanced by prestigious loans from major institutions such as the Louvre Museum, the Royal Collection Trust, the National Gallery in London and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Madrid. From his beginnings in Perugia to his heyday in Rome, not forgetting Florence, follow Raphael’s exceptional career and plunge into the heart of his creative process. Digital installations offer an immersive experience, even allowing you to take a virtual tour of the Vatican’s famous Room of the Segnatura and its emblematic frescoes.
