Enjoy the concerts of the Opéra

More than 10 years after the devastating fire at the Grand Théâtre in 1903, the municipality embarked on a project to build a completely new edifice. Architect Louis-Marie Cordonnier was in charge, with the ambition of reproducing an Italian-style auditorium. Today, it’s one of the few remaining Italian-style auditoriums in France.

Inspired by the neoclassical style, the building hosts numerous musical performances, as well as thematic workshops open to all.

The eclecticism of the station Saint Sauveur

A former freight station, it symbolized the industrial power of the region. Rail operations ceased in 2003. During “Lille 2004 European Capital of Culture”, two halls were refurbished to host cultural events.

As a result, the Gare Saint Sauveur has become the ideal place to enjoy a pleasant moment with family or friends, visit an exhibition or attend one of the many concerts on offer every year.

Decathlon Arena - Stadium Pierre Mauroy

On July 27, 2013, the Grand Stade became the Stade Pierre-Mauroy in honor of the former mayor of Lille. This is where most of the matches of Lille’s famous soccer team, LOSC, are played. It can accommodate 50,000 spectators for soccer and rugby matches. Its design allows it to be converted into a concert hall or sports hall, offering a truly 360° show.
