Description
While adults roam the streets in search of bargains, kids get their moment in the spotlight, too! For one weekend, the Gare Saint Sauveur transforms into a kingdom of young merchants for the Children’s Flea Market—an event that has become a must-attend for young people from Lille, Lomme, and Helleme.
Where? In the courtyard of the Gare Saint Sauveur
When? Saturday, September 5, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Here, there are no antique dealers’ booths: instead, toys, books, board games, and video games change hands as children haggle (sometimes very seriously!) over prices. Accompanied by their parents, the young exhibitors become, for a day, the kings of bartering and scoring great deals.
It’s the perfect opportunity to give abandoned toys a second life—and, why not, walk away with a new find just in time for the start of the school year. A child-sized, cheerful, and friendly flea market in an iconic venue of Lille’s cultural life.
So, ready to go bargain hunting with the family?
