Description
To mark its reopening, LaM gave artist Mathis Collins carte blanche.
A Franco-Canadian artist, Mathis Collins develops a practice at the crossroads of sculpture and performance, valorizing artisanal know-how and the dynamics of collective creation.
For one evening, he invites artists whose practices straddle the boundaries of performance, theater, music and the visual arts. Conceived as a participatory cabaret, the event will invite everyone to take part in the experience, through workshops and other surprising propositions.
The leitmotif of the evening: "to celebrate the artistic blur and the aesthetic flank, to celebrate the masterpieces that only children have the talent to make! to celebrate the art of our grandparents and the arts that no longer have parents, to celebrate the art that we make, without even meaning to."
