Born in France at the crossroads of Berber, Italian, and Ardèche influences, Oaio first set out to save the planet, then nearly settled for good in the Argentine mountains, before being called back along the way by music and writing.
A singer, guitarist, composer, and lyricist, this native of Lille carries her voice and her songs like pilgrims carry their staffs, in search of a new world built on connections and reconciliation. Still wandering a bit along the old paths of folk music, Oaio ventures with her album *Bizarre Monde* (2022) onto new paths of an anti-purist French-language song, a blend of Mediterranean and American influences.
Following this first album that transcends borders and his EP Vague la Vague released in 2025, the artist is now preparing his second studio album for a release scheduled for the first quarter of 2027. With this new project, Oaio will continue to take you on a journey, ever further, out to sea and beyond...
