Description
Elliot, a young English immigrant who arrived in New York in the midst of an economic crisis, tries to build a life for himself by shining shoes amid the hustle and bustle of Grand Central Station. One day, his fate takes a turn when he discovers a mysterious abandoned suitcase from which a few strangely familiar notes of music escape. This unexpected encounter draws him into a dreamlike adventure where memories, dreams, and reality intertwine. Throughout his journey, the show sensitively recounts a young orphan’s quest for identity, a sense of belonging, and a future, while celebrating the power of hope in the face of adversity.
Performed by ten remarkably talented artists, the stage becomes a canvas for feats that are as spectacular as they are moving. Hair balancing, contortion, balancing on canes, hand-to-hand acrobatics, aerial acrobatics, diabolo, and aerial acrobatics on straps: each discipline contributes to the narrative and brings the main character’s emotions to life.
