With *Snapshots*, Daniel Zimmermann presents a project inspired by the upheavals of our time. Blending incandescent groove, lyricism, and deadpan humor, the trombonist composes music drawn from the experiences of life, driven by infectious energy.
A longtime collaborator with Thomas de Pourquery, Claude Nougaro, Manu Dibango, Tony Allen, and Vincent Peirani, Daniel Zimmermann is joined by a top-notch quartet: Pierre Durand on guitar, Élisée Blanchard on bass, and Julien Charlet on drums. Together, they explore a world where jazz, rock, and funk intersect, without ever losing their taste for risk and improvisation.
