Tender and poetic, Buster Keaton is undoubtedly one of the masters of slapstick comedy in silent film. Between 1917 and 1923, he made no fewer than 32 short films, each more irresistible than the last, including Day Dream?s (Grandeur and Decadence) and The Electric House (Frigo à l?Electric Hôtel).
With music by Éric Bourdet and accompaniment by the Moderato and Arco orchestras, these films come to life again: the music matches the image with sensitivity and rhythm, punctuating each gesture and playing with the action, sometimes leaving room for improvisation, to offer each screening a unique and lively moment.
