Artists AXELLE LOUARD, BARBARA MORIHIEN, VÉRONIQUE BAUDOUX and JEAN-JACQUES MAHO invite us to discover their work through a collection of collages, paintings and illustrations. This exhibition asks: what traces do artists leave in their creations? What message is constructed or transformed through gesture and time?
Using paper as the main material, fragile by nature, the works explore the tension between spontaneity and permanence. Superimpositions, alterations and fragments create images in equilibrium, where meaning unfolds in an uncertain space.
Between ephemerality and durability, the exhibition invites us to take a close look at what appears, persists or disappears, and how the work, despite its fragility, can make a trace.
