A reimagining of a work originally conceived for the Martha Graham Company, _In The Brain_ explores nightlife and transcendental dance. Somewhere between clubbing and ritual, the stage becomes a place of total liberation where identities dissolve and only the beat dictates the rules.
Set to powerful music co-composed by Shechter and the %C2me collective, the dancers merge in a collective trance, pushing themselves to the point of exhaustion and euphoria. A sensory journey whose tremendous momentum seems to spill over from the stage, sweeping the audience along with it.
