Description
Garden(s) of Sounds #4: A Walk Along the Canal
---------------------------------------
### With Ma%EBl Isaac and Orios
Amid the sounds of the city, there are natural havens. Sometimes hidden around the corner of an alley or under a porch, invisible because they’ve become part of our daily routines—how can we (re)discover them?
Guided by musical notes, come discover unique instruments, participate in workshops, and relax in the shade of the trees. It’s a chance to escape the heat and the city’s noise for a few hours.
For each event, Jardin(s) des sons offers the same program, with activities tailored to the venue’s characteristics and the suggestions of our partners.
**2:00–4:00 p.m.:** Music and nature workshops with artists and neighborhood partners.
For example:
* Sound exploration: recording the sounds of nature. Discovering unusual instruments?
* Nature exploration: creating a herbarium, nature walks focused on biodiversity,
* Other activities (depending on partners): yoga, postcard making, knitting?
**4:00–4:30 p.m.**: Snack provided by the ARA and sourced locally
**4:30–5:30 p.m.:** Musical nap
For each event, two artists will blend their styles for a unique musical encounter:
**Ma%EBl Isaac** is known for his electro-pop, where instruments like the harp and guzheng are used to create trip-hop melodies.
**Orios** oscillates between poetry and urban music, in a sunny and sensitive world
**Tuesday, July 21:** Quai de Wattrelos / Plateforme des Soies
