Description
At 98 rue des Stations, the CAUE du Nord operates a space dedicated to outreach in the fields of architecture, urban planning, the environment, and landscape: the Maison des territoires du Nord. This resource center, dedicated to raising awareness and providing training on territorial transformation, is based on observation and the sharing of knowledge.
The presentation of the educational program will focus on understanding vernacular architecture within its site, in relation to local resources, geology, and geomorphology, to better understand the logic behind human settlements and the need to draw on this knowledge when designing the projects of tomorrow.
Visitors will also explore the educational program by observing the building, its history, and its integration into the neighborhood and the city.
