Les Tout Petits Concerts

For the fifth year, the vocal arts department of La Chapelle des Flandres—which has been based in Roubaix for 35 years—invites you to the Conservatory to enjoy the “Tout Petits” concerts.%A0 This Roubaix-based musical association promotes singing in all its activities: educational programs, creative workshops, master classes, lectures, public rehearsals, concert productions, workshops, and exchanges. This year, La Chapelle des Flandres will celebrate the work of two composers, beginning with Giovanni Gabrieli and the splendor of Venice from the late Renaissance and early Baroque periods. The association will also champion a repertoire that took root in our region during the Renaissance by performing masterpieces by the famous Tomás Luis de Victoria. Vocal art was then at the pinnacle of compositional virtuosity. **Christophe Gautier,** Artistic Director of La Chapelle des Flandres A trumpeter and conductor, he specializes in vocal music and has participated in numerous opera and oratorio productions with prestigious ensembles such as A Sei Voci, Le Concert Spirituel, Les Arts Florissants, and Le Parlement de Musique.
