Schedule: 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Prox Raid Adventure
Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Concert by la da-masfamily (singing, dancing, etc.)
Location: Terrain Fontier, 54 Cour Fontier, Roubaix.
Background:
Recently, several cities, including Roubaix, have been the scene of violence, sometimes perpetrated by young people. Reconstruction goes beyond material goods: we must restore the social bond between the youth of Roubaix and those who support them.
Project description:
The Prox Raid Aventure association and the Da-mas association, co-organizer of Prox Raid Aventure.
The goal of this project is to foster closer ties between the community and the police through various recreational and sports workshops led by law enforcement officers volunteering their time (Municipal Police / National Police / Fire Department).
The program will feature seven activity stations, each supervised by at least one police officer: Soccer (inflatable field) / Boxing (inflatable ring) / Climbing wall (7 meters) / Obstacle course (participants will be equipped with CRS uniforms) / Interactive discussions on professional intervention techniques / First aid (firefighters) / Laser shooting (electronic targets), with the potential addition of a K-9 unit booth and a mounted police unit booth.
These booths are provided free of charge by the association.
A refreshment and light food stand may be offered to help self-fund a project (PRJ/Social Centers)
Target audience:
Ages 7 and up: General public, sports associations, youth centers, community centers
The Prox Raid Aventure Organization:
Prox Raid Aventure is an event organized by law enforcement agencies (the National Police, the Municipal Police, and firefighters from SDIS 59). These agencies participate as volunteers and offer sports activities for the public. The added value of Prox Raid Aventure lies in the presence of career-oriented booths where participants can learn about careers in law enforcement (National Police Academy, local employment agency, etc.).
This initiative is funded by the FIPD and the City of Roubaix.".
