There's no doubt about it, "wheat" can be the stuff of stories: stories about grain, flour, bread, in short, about food. But also stories of money, wealth and poverty? "Des histoires de Blé" are tales peopled with characters whose destinies, whether fatal or miraculous, are always full of twists and turns. You'll meet a brother who's too greedy, an old lady who's lucky despite her poor condition, and you'll discover a very free adaptation of Tolstoy's tale "The Grain of Wheat". All this may well give us food for thought?
