**Friday, July 24, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., come learn the basics of basket weaving and make a cornucopia for your plants with Florie Andreges!**
Learn the basics of basket weaving during this workshop, with step-by-step guidance from Florie as you create your own cornucopia.
You’ll discover the many possibilities of willow and rattan—natural materials that are supple, flexible, and sturdy, and can be woven and shaped.
You’ll also have the opportunity to incorporate weaving techniques.
You’ll leave with an original, one-of-a-kind, handmade, colorful hanging piece to hold a plant or other item.
At the end of the workshop, the museum will provide a light snack.
