Rome needs your children!
Enlist them in the Roman Legion!
Over two days, they’ll discover the life of Roman legionnaires through:
\- an introduction to the chain of command and combat maneuvers, such as the famous “turtle” formation. All in Latin!
\- an introduction to coin minting to recreate the legionnaires’ pay.
\- making a signaculum, the soldiers’ military ID tag.
\- An introduction to archery and sling-shooting.
\- The creation of a metal sling projectile.
\- An introduction to military coding techniques.
At the end of the two days, the children will demonstrate all the combat techniques of the Roman Legion to their parents, under the command of their officer.
