Description
With this new program, Franck Tortiller and Misja Fitzgerald Michel revisit the world of David Crosby, through some of his most emblematic songs such as Guinevere, Déjà Vu and Carry Me.
In an intimate instrumental dialogue, the two musicians reveal the finesse of the harmonies and the melodic richness of the repertoire of this emblematic figure of folk and rock from the 1960s-1970s. These sensitive rereadings are complemented by original compositions, fueled by their shared admiration for David Crosby?s work.
Vibraphonist and composer Franck Tortiller?s extensive career includes conducting the Orchestre national de jazz. Alongside him, guitarist Misja Fitzgerald Michel, trained between Paris and New York, has established himself as a leading figure in contemporary jazz.
