As part of the URBX Festival, Bar Live celebrates the Fête de la Musique with a day of urban culture, featuring rap, reggae and live performances.
Starting at 3pm, the public is invited to attend a talk entitled "Roots & Flow: Rap & Reggae, une même histoire" (Roots & Flow: Rap & Reggae, one and the same story), an opportunity to discuss the historical, political and musical links between these two major currents in urban culture. A cultural opening that lays the foundations for a day rich in artistic expression.
From 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., make way for the Urban Jam, an underground rap contest hosted by Cenza. Freestyles, performances and a spirit of cypher will transform the Bar Live into a veritable open stage, where MCs and the public share the same energy.
The evening concludes with an exceptional concert by Natty Jean, accompanied by 11 musicians. A powerful, unifying live reggae performance to round off this festive day in a warm, vibrant atmosphere.
With debates, rap performances and live concerts, this special URBX Fête de la Musique promises a complete immersion in urban culture in the heart of Roubaix.
