To mark the bicentenary of photography, La Piscine unveils its photographic collection in a ground-breaking exhibition in which Roubaix and its inhabitants are the focus of inspiration for amateur and professional photographers alike.
"Roubaix Photo**" takes visitors on a journey through more than a century of images, combining vernacular photography with artistic creation, industrial memory with contemporary approaches, and reveals the richness of a collection that dialogues with other forms of expression - painting, sculpture, graphic arts and fashion.
La Piscine gives carte blanche to **Naime Merabet** for an intimate journey through Roubaix. From the thresholds - doors, windows, crossings - the photographer captures the discreet poetry of everyday life, blending Algerian memory and local roots, discreet conviviality and traces of social exclusion. A warm and humble look, guided by instinct, at a proud and deeply inhabited city.
