Description
After the First World War, which left Comines in ruins, life gradually returned to normal. The town drew inspiration from its past to redesign its streets and buildings, influenced by the Flemish Renaissance style that was once its own and that of the region. The town hall and Saint-Chrysole church were built, giving shape to the Grand Place. On this guided tour, you'll discover the UNESCO World Heritage-listed belfry and a neo-Byzantine church.
This tour is offered on Wednesday August 26 at 11am.
