2026 Autumn on the Menu Lille is serving up autumn!

Autumn is here, market stalls are changing colour and chefs are embracing the season too. Pumpkins, mushrooms, leeks, apples, pears and other local produce are making their way into kitchens, inspiring fresh new dishes.

From 16 to 31 October 2026, Autumn on the Menu celebrates food and gastronomy in Lille and across the Metropolitan Area with two highlights: the Restaurant Fortnight, a chance to discover chefs’ creations showcasing local, seasonal produce, and a Gourmet Weekend, from 23 to 25 October at Palais Rameau.

The perfect opportunity to discover the restaurants, culinary talent and local produce that make the Lille Metropolitan Area’s food scene so special.

What is Autumn  on the Menu?

It’s a brand-new event created to put the Lille Metropolitan Area’s food scene and the people who bring it to life centre stage.

For two weeks, participating chefs open the doors to their restaurants and serve specially priced tasting menus showcasing local, seasonal produce. It’s an invitation to discover their world, their creativity and their own unique take on autumn flavours.

And because great food is also about sharing experiences beyond the restaurant table, the celebrations continue from 23 to 25 October at Palais Rameau, with three days of tastings, activities and opportunities to meet chefs and producers.

Two ways to savour autumn, with one shared ambition: bringing the whole Metropolitan Area to the table.

When is  Autumn on the Menu?

Autumn on the Menu takes place from Friday 16 to Saturday 31 October 2026, in Lille and across the Metropolitan Area.

16-31 October: Restaurant Fortnight
Participating restaurants will be offering tasting menus showcasing local, seasonal produce.

23-25 October: Gourmet Weekend
For three days, head to Palais Rameau in Lille for a major celebration of food and gastronomy.

16-31 October:  Restaurant Fortnight

What if autumn were the perfect season to try somewhere new?

For two weeks, participating chefs let their creativity take the lead, creating tasting menus that showcase local, seasonal produce.

The idea? To tempt you through the doors of some of the Metropolitan Area’s restaurants, discover a chef’s world and enjoy a true culinary experience at a special price.

Each restaurant puts its own spin on autumn, drawing on its inspiration, expertise and style of cooking.

Two weeks to discover somewhere new, return to a chef you already love… or try as many as you like. After all, October has 31 days.

23-25 October: The Palais Rameau gets a taste for fine food

For three days, gastronomy leaves the kitchen and takes over Palais Rameau.

Passionate chefs, local producers and anyone curious about the story behind what’s on their plate come together for a whole weekend dedicated to flavour, sharing and the Metropolitan Area’s culinary heritage.

Of course, you come here to taste, but there’s much more to it than that. Meet the people who grow, make and cook the food, watch chefs at work, pick up a few techniques and, inevitably, spend plenty of time talking about the one thing that brings everyone together: good food.

A food market to meet local producers

Local produce, traditional know-how and great encounters come together at a market that puts the people behind the region’s food firmly in the spotlight.

A chance to fill your basket, of course, but above all to put faces and stories to the products you take home.

Chefs to watch… and dishes to taste

A food court, cooking workshops, masterclasses and cooking shows will also keep the weekend buzzing.

Watch, learn, ask questions and, most importantly, taste. Chefs step away from their restaurants for a while to share their food in a different, much more spontaneous setting.

And plenty more foodie surprises

Talks, meet-ups and other events will round off the programme over these three delicious days.
