From 20 November to 29 December, let yourself be carried away by the magic of Christmas in the heart of Lille! The city is illuminated by countless lights and decked out in its finest decorations. On Place Rihour, stroll among the food and drink stalls, discover local crafts and enjoy seasonal treats in a warm and friendly atmosphere. What are the dates of the Lille 2024 Christmas Market?

This year, the Lille Christmas Village will open its doors from 20 November to 29 December 2024. For six weeks, the Place Rihour will be transformed into a magical place, with its wooden chalets and sparkling lights!

Christmas market opening times

Monday to Thursday and Sunday: 11:00 am to 8:30 pm

Friday and Saturday: 11:00 am to 10:00 pm

December 24 and 29: closing at 6:00 pm (times subject to change)

Closed on December 25.

How to to get to Lille

By train
For a greener journey, opt for the train! The good news is that the SNCF is offering attractive ticket prices for the festive season. To get to the Lille Christmas Market, get off at Lille Flandres or Lille Europe station, both in the city centre. It’s just a five-minute walk to Place Rihour.
By bus
Many companies serve Lille. Arrival point in the city center at the bus station (Lille Europe).
By plane
Reach Lille by landing at Lille-Lesquin airport, just 10 km from the city center. To make your journey to the heart of the city easier, book a shuttle or cab. More information on shuttles

By public transport

Climb aboard the majestic 50-meter Ferris Wheel on the Grand-Place for a breathtaking view of the illuminated city. Take a ride on the Idéal Chenille at Place du Théâtre, a century-old merry-go-round with retro charm, or on the traditional Carousel. Enchanting rides for the whole family!

- Roubaix:
  Sustainable Christmas market from 29 November to 24 December, opposite the La Piscine museum. Discover sustainable, local, handmade and recycled products. Activities every weekend.

- Villeneuve d’Ascq:
  Market at Château de Flers, every weekend from November 23 to December 15. The market will feature local designers and craftsmen, festive food stalls and charities.

- Mouvaux:
  Traditional Christmas market from November 29 to December 1, Place du Cœur de Ville. Program to follow.

- Wambrechies:
  Christmas market at Château de Robersart from December 6 to 8. 30 creative craftspeople (textiles, jewelry, delicacies, visual artists…), entertainment and light refreshments.

- Loos:
  Christmas market November 30 and December 1 at La Fileuse. Fifty exhibitors, gift ideas, workshops and entertainment.
