On the Wervicq Mountain, in the park of the Château Dalle-Dumont, remains a German monument erected in 1915 on which one can see a nurse caring for a bedridden man. It reminds us that during the Great War, the occupying forces had set up a cemetery here adjacent to the "Lazarett" installed in the castle.
