Diocèse de Lille

The Archdiocese of Lille is a metropolitan archdiocese of the Catholic Church in France, with its seat in Lille. Established in 1913, the diocese of Lille was a suffragan of the metropolitan archdiocese of Cambrai. In 2008, it was elevated to the rank of archdiocese, and the metropolitan see of Cambrai was transferred to it.
It covers two arrondissements in the Nord department: Lille and Dunkirk, which has included the former arrondissement of Hazebrouck since 1926.
