Église Sainte-Marie-Madeleine

  • Cathedrals, churches and abbeys
30 Rue Paul Procureur 59320 Englos
The church was built in the 11th century by Benedictine monks, who abandoned it in the 16th century. Jesuits then took possession of the church until they were expelled by Louis XVI. Sold during the Revolution, it was restored and returned to the parish. Partially destroyed during the wars, it was restored in the 1990s.
