The mission of the Institut du Monde Arabe-Tourcoing is to promote and discover the cultures of the Arab world through a multidisciplinary program reflecting the richness and diversity of this part of the world.
Housed in Tourcoing?s former swimming school, a building emblematic of local memory, the Institut presents two exhibitions a year, showcasing the creativity of artists from the Arab world and the richness of a thousand-year-old heritage.
The Institut du Monde Arabe-Tourcoing is a meeting place open to all, offering year-round courses in modern Arabic for all ages, as well as a program of concerts, shows, lectures, literary encounters and workshops for young and old.
