It was built from 1924 to 1932 by the architect Emile Dubuisson who was inspired by the triangular-gabled Flemish houses. Its 104 metres-high belfry is listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site.
The belfry is open for visits from Tuesday to Sunday (except on January 1st, May 1st, December 25th) from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 5.30pm. More information about the belfry's visit.
